R. J. Spencer, 55, Mayfield, KY, died Wednesday, May 5, 2010, 4:25 p.m. at Fern Terrace Lodge in Mayfield, KY.
R. J. attended Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church. He was formerly employed at the Steel Mill in Gary, Indiana and Easter Seal Center in Paducah, Ky.
R. J. was preceded in death by, his parents, Dorsie Spencer and Freddie Price Dukes, one brother, Clarence Junior Spencer, One Sister, Kay Frances Johnson.
He is survived by two sisters, Janice Walker, Mayfield, KY, Patricia Cox, Paducah, KY; One brother, Ricky Gilbert, Paducah, KY, several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and other cousins.
Services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 12, 2010, 1:00 P. M. at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home, 1229 Madison Street, Paducah, KY, with Brother Jimmy Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah, KY.
The family will receive visitors Wednesday, May 12, 2010 from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour at the Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home.
