Ricky Terrell Shumpert, Jr, infant son to Ricky Terrell Shumpert, Sr. and Tanesha Shante' Farrington of Paducah passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2011, 6:09 a.m., at Western Baptist Hospital.

Ricky was preceded in death by his great-great grandparents, George Reeves, Sr. and Ruth Walker, and two uncles.

Ricky is also survived by three brothers, Jalen Askew, Dmari Jackson and DeAndre Jackson all of Paducah, KY; three sisters, Demetria Sharp, Destiny Jackson, and twin sister Rihanna Shumpert, all of Paducah, KY; Grandmothers, Wanda Williams, Metropolis, IL, and Cassandra (Sonnie) Shumpert, of Paducah, KY; Grandfathers, Robert Farrington, Milwaukee, WI, Ricky Jones, Paducah, KY, and Nathan Williams, Metropolis, IL; Great Grandmothers, Shirley Walker, Grand Chain, IL, and Shirley Shumpert, Paducah, KY; Great Grandfather, Willie Shumpert, Sr. Paducah, KY; Great-Great Grandmother, Birdie Reeves Claybrooks, Paducah, KY. Several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Calvin R. Cole, Sr. officiating, burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah, KY.
