Reverend Dr. Jesse H. Weathers, age 69 of West Paducah, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022, 3:12 p.m., at Mercy Health Lourdes.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, 12 noon, at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Bishop Frederick Davis officiating.

Friends and family may call on Wednesday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis Weathers, Jr. and Elsie Burkes Weathers, and one sister, Mattie Ruth Handley.

He survived by his wife of 49 years, Anita Gail Weathers of West Paducah, KY; one son , DuWayne Weathers and one daughter, Shawnta (Bishop Frederick) Davis both of Paducah; two granddaughters, Alexia Foster of Paducah and Raevyn Weathers of West Paducah; one great-granddaughter, Ava Burgard of Paducah; four sisters, Gracie Ann Johnson and Winnie Jean (Bishop) Dotson both of Indianapolis, IN; Shirley Timmons of Florida and Cessely Weathers of Fordyce, AR; one sister-in-law, Colleen Brookins and one brother-in-law, Eurel Buchanan both of Louisville, KY; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The service will be livestreamed on PETTUS-ROWLAND FUNERAL HOME, LLC FACEBOOK PAGE beginning at 11:50 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.
