Regina Kay Meadows, 52, of Paducah, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013, 2:57 am at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.

She was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. She was a graduate of both Paducah Tilghman High School and later Draughon's Business College where she received an associate degree in business administration. She also attended Murray State University.

She was formerly employed as an Administrative Assistant at the United States Enrichment Corporation.


Regina is survived by a daughter, Kayla Meadows of Paducah; two step-sons , Ronald Meadows, Jr. of Paducah and Matthew Meadows of Herndon, VA; her father, Revie Shannon, Jr. of Paducah and her mother , Birdie M. Senter Denson, of Paducah; five brothers, Marion Denson of Mound City, IL, Kenneth Denson and Jerry Shannon, both of Paducah; and Charles Shannon of Shelby, NC and Reike Shannon of Burgin, KY; three sisters, Sharolyn Johnson and Marolyn Ware, both of Paducah; and Sobra Denise Shannon of Springfield, IL; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother Donald Denson.

Funeral service will be Saturday, November 16, 2013, 1:00 pm at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church with Reverends Joe N. Flagg and Calvin R. Cole, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
