Ray Stone, age 73, Paducah, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2011, 8:43 p.m. at his residence.

He was a member of New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, Trustee and Finance Chairperson.

Mr. Stone was a graduate of Lincoln Ridge Institute, Lincoln Ridge, KY and was a Duke of Paducah. Mr. Stone retired from Air Products & Chemicals, Calvert City, KY in the Maintenance Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Oliver Stone and Alma Samuels Stone, two sisters and one brother.

Mr. Stone is survived by three sons, Reverend Phillip Stone, Mounds, IL; Tony Stone, Cairo, IL; Gary Stone, Columbus, GA; one daughter, Melony Smith, Paducah, KY; a twin sister, Faye Weatherspoon, Paducah, KY; three brothers, George Thomas Stone, Cleveland, OH; Reverend Franklin Stone, Barlow, KY; Donnie Curtis Stone, Barlow, KY; ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; one aunt, one uncle.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, June 25, 2011, 12:00 noon at New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend W.G. Harvey, Sr. and Reverend Garland W. White officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

The Family will receive visitors Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral hour at New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church.
