Ralph Vincent Cole, age 88, of Paducah passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016, 2:35 a.m., at New Haven Assisted Living of Paducah.

He was a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church where he sang in the church choir and male chorus.

He retired from the State of Illinois as a supervisor in dry cleaning for the Illinois School for Boys.

Preceding him in death was his parents James R. Cole and Amanda Lee Patton Cole his wife, Lucille Thomas Cole, a daughter Lequita Ann Quarles, a son Ralph Vincent Cole, Jr. a sister, Velma Negley and two brothers Edward Cole and Clyde Cole.

Survivors include three sons, Reverend Calvin R. (Fannie) Cole, Sr. of Paducah, KY, Elder James R. (Beverly) Cole, Sr. and Larry E. (Joyce) Cole both of Morganfield, KY; four daughters, Minister Marie (Reverend Barry) Washington of Louisville, KY, Sandra Catlett and Marie Garnett both of Sturgis, KY, Becky (Charles) Maxey of Morganfield, KY; 22 Grandchildren, several Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 14, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with Evangelist Melanie Nunn officiating. Burial will follow in Morganfield, KY at the OddFellows Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
