Obituary
Quedellus Leroy Meadows, Jr., 75, of Metropolis, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, 7:55 p.m., at Massac Memorial Hospital.
He was a retired construction worker and a member of Oak Grove Presbyterian Church of Choates, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jobita Diane Meadows, his father, Quedellus Leroy Meadows, Sr., his mother, Mignon Crim Meadows, one brother and three sisters.
Meadows is survived by three sons, Troy Meadows, Danny Meadows and Terry Meadows all of Detroit, Michigan; three sisters, LaWanda Meadows of Berkeley, IL, Carolyn Kindle of Metropolis, IL, and Rhonda Jones of Paducah, KY; three brothers, Kenneth Meadows of Jacksonville, FL, Ronald Meadows of Paducah, KY, Jackie Meadows of Metropolis, IL; Two Grandchildren, Two great grandsons; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2011, at First Missionary Baptist Church, 413 West 7th Street in Metropolis, Illinois with Reverend's Garnell Edwards and Robert Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday, March 28, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
