Phyllis Ann Webster-Allen, 64 years, 3 months and 17 days old left this earthly life for eternal rest at 3:15 a.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at her residence in Paducah. She was born September 5, 1946 in Paducah, Kentucky to the late Henry Smith and Juanita Whitfield Bolen. She was also pre-ceded in death by her sister Cathy Bolen and brother, Sammy Bolen.
Phyllis united with the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church by baptism at an early age under the pastorate of Reverend Jimmy Hodge. Phyllis loved to read all sorts of materials and play her favorite game of cards. Phyllis retired after 27 years of dedicated service to Indiana University and Perdue University in the environmental service department.
Phyllis was loved by her family. She was a wonderful wife and a great mother figure to her siblings as well as a good big sister.
Phyllis united in holy matrimony to the love of her life, Delmar R. Allen, Jr. on June 12, 2003 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She leaves to cherish her many loving memories:
