Phyllis Andrew Walker Anderson age 77 of Paducah, entered into her eternal rest on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, 7:27 p.m. at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital.

Phyllis was a faithful member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the mother board and usher board. She attended services regularly until her health began to decline, but God blessed her with an iPhone and Facebook to watch the services each and every Sunday. She was a devoted church member who was filled and very strong believer in Christ and the power of prayer.

Phyllis was a graduate of Miles High School in Union City, TN. She worked several years as a nurses' assistant at Lourdes hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Andrew and Ethel Walker; two sons, J aniero and Jamie King; two brothers, Alvin and William (Sonny) Travis; one sister, Arthetta Gaines; and one bonus brother, Billy Mackins, Sr.

She leaves to cherish loving memories: Two Daughters , Penny and Patrina King; Bonus Daughter , Lucreta Martin Lambert; Bonus Son , Michael (Maggie) Collins; Bonus Brother , Gentry (Johnnie) Mackins; One Daughter-In-Law , Vernise King; Five Nieces , Wanda Travis, Valerie Travis, Vernetia Travis, and Charlotte Carter; Nine Nephews , Don Gaines, Ralph Gaines, William (Bobo) Travis, Lamont Travis, Joe Travis, Jessie Travis, David Travis, Tracy Travis and Timothy Travis; Five Grandchildren , Kyle King, Shanice King, Melissa Wilson, Vanshea Buford and Zachary Kiefer; Bonus Grandchildren , April Lambert, Kiera Lambert and Nacoya Lambert, Kimmie (Lamont) Myers and Heather (Cody) Hyatt; Eight Great-Grandchildren , Aubrey King, Moon Jackson, Joshua Wilson, Julian Wilson, J'La Logwood, Jamison Merritt, Jalira Buford and Kyleigh King; Bonus Grands , Mollie Myers, McKenna Myers and Makylin Myers, Scarlet Hyatt, Hudson Hyatt; Her Miracle Baby , Lil' Rickie Roberts; Her Devoted Niece , Joyce (Thomas) Biles; Her Church Buddy , Debbiar McKinney; Her Church Daughter Elder Mammie Brown; Her Childhood Friend , Emma Louis Freeman; Her Lifelong Friend, Dr. June Jones, Her Second Pastor, Pastor A.E. McCadney, and Her Entire Church Family at The Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church .

Funeral services have been scheduled for Sunday, February 19, 2023, 6:00 p.m. at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Alfred Anderson and Reverend Michael Wade officiating.

The service will be livestreamed on Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home, LLC Facebook Page beginning at 5:45 PM.

Family and Friends may call at the church on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
