Phyllis Ann Hunter, 67, Paducah, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014, 7:05 pm, at Lourdes Hospital.

Phyllis was a member of Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir ,served on the Culinary Committee and in the Nursery.

She attended Paducah Tilghman High School and the former Lincoln High School and was a homemaker.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents Leroy Pate and Phillip and Nellie Hill Farrow.

She is survived by her husband of forty-eight years, Robert B. Hunter, Jr. of Paducah; two sons, Robert B. Hunter III and Christopher X. Hunter, both of Paducah; five grandchildren; two brothers, Reverend Phillip Farrow, Jr. of Rock Island, IL. and Henry Farrow of Paducah; three sisters, Mattie Stokes of Lansing, MI and Valarie Farrow and Vicky farrow, both of Stone Mountain, GA; two sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; a godson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service will be held Friday, August 15, 2014, 1:00 PM, at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church. Reverend Phillip Farrow, Jr. and Dr. James L. Hudson will officiate and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church on Friday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
