Obituary
Peggy Joyce Coleman Parker, 74 of Paducah, died Saturday, January 3, 2009, 10:00 p.m. at her residence.
Ms. Parker was a graduate of Lincoln High School. She was a Homemaker and a lifelong member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Ethel Franklin Coleman, her husband, Ocie D. Parker, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth J. Strickland, of Paducah; one daughter, Marvina O. Foster, of Fairburn, GA; one grandson, and one granddaughter, two sisters Lorraine Mathis of Paducah and Ella Gardner of Chicago, IL; several nieces and nephews.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1213 South 10th Street, Paducah, KY. Reverend Michael Wade will officiate. There will be no visitation, and burial will follow at Maple Lawn Park Cemetery.
