Obituary
Pearlie Manon Morris, 89, died Sunday, July 29, 2012, 8:45 PM, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Paducah, KY.
Ms, Morris was a member of the Church of the Living God, where she served as church secretary. She retired from barbering and was a Homemaker.
Ms. Morris was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Jack Morris, her parents, Monroe and Mary Lee Johnson, two sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Lorrel Mason, Pineville, NC, and Marilyn Jurnice Orr, Paducah, KY; one brother, Robert Lewis Johnson, Paducah, KY; one step-son Mathis Leroy Sains, of Paducah, KY; 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are scheduled for11:00 AM Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Donna Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors, Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour.
Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
