Obituary
Pearlie Mae Davis, age 71, of Metropolis, Illinois, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015, 1:37 a.m. at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.
She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Metropolis where she served on the Mother's Board, Missionary Society, Culinary Committee and sang in the church choir.
She received her Associates Degree from Southern Illinois University and retired as a Probation Officer from the Alexander-Pulaski Counties State Department of Illinois.
Her parents J.C. Noland and Alice Smith Noland, also three sisters preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband Willie Davis of Union City, TN; three sons, James Smith of Cape Girardeau, MO; Patrick Smith, Sr. and Robert Smith both of St. Louis,, MO; Four Grandchldren;one brother, Barry Anthony Noland of Nashville, TN; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Orlando McReynolds officiating and burial to follow in Masonic Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
