Pauline Richardson Flowers, age 80, of Paducah, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024, 10:31 P.M., at Baptist Health of Paducah.
She was a member of Burks Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church where she served as a Stewardess, in the Culinary Department, the Willing Workers and the Church Homemakers. She was employed in environmental services at Dillard's Department Store.
She is survived by Her Husband of 64 years , Jonathan Flowers of Paducah, KY; Two Daughters , Judy (Jesse) Calhoun of Germantown, MD and Patrice (Henry) Glore of Paducah, KY; Three Sons , Gregory (LaQuita) Flowers of Nashville, TN, Joseph (Lynn) Flowers of Paducah, KY and Desmond Flowers of Louisville, KY; 11 Grandchildren, Jesse Calhoun III of Annapolis, MD, Whitley Flowers of Paducah, KY, Sydney Flowers of Mt. Juliet, TN, Tawana Glore of Williamsburg, VA, Vashti (Adam) Henderson of Louisville, KY, Xavier (Kiara) Thaxter of Chicago, IL, Kendall (Kelsey) Calhoun of Houston, TX, Alexis Flowers of Louisville, KY, Alexandra Flowers of Nashville, TN, Isaiah Flowers of Louisville, KY, and Dondrea Richardson of Hayti, MO; 3 Great-Grandchildren , Jamari Chunn and Lennox Chunn, both of Paducah, KY and Greyson Thaxter of Chicago, IL; Two Sisters , Jackie Pipes of Paducah, KY and Betty Jones of North Chicago, IL; Five Brothers , Willie (Melinda) Coleman of MI, Michael Coleman of Knoxville, TN, Dennis (Cheryl) Coleman of Belle Meade, MI, Dwayne (Cheryl) Coleman of North Chicago, IL, and John Richardson of Paducah, KY; Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins .
She was preceded in death by her parents, J. C. Coleman, Sr. and Goldean Perkins Jackson; her stepfather, James E. Jackson, Sr.; two brothers, J.C. Coleman, Jr. and James Jackson, Jr. and one sister, Doris Sutton.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2024, 12:00 Noon, at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Golphin officiating. Friends may also call on the family on Friday, May 3, 2024, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again on Saturday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
The service will be livestreamed on Pettus-Rowland, LLC Facebook Page beginning at 11:45 a.m. (CST).
