Obituary
Patrick Bovea Meekey, 41, Paducah, passed away, Friday, August 2, 2013, 5:00 pm, at Lourdes Hospital.
Patrick was a member of Rocky Ford Church Where Jesus is Lord and served in the Food Ministries. He was a member of the NSSR Motorcycle Club, a certified mentor at Abraham Hall Transformation Center and coached softball teams at Stuart Nelson Park. He was also a clerk at A & J Liquors.
He is survived by his mother, Edith Meekey Mitchell of Cleveland, OH; his step-father, Michael Mitchell of Cleveland, OH; four sons, Patrick Bovea Mitchell, Jr., Quincy DeMarcus Mitchell, and Quinn Lamar Mitchell all of Paducah and Migel Mitchell of Cleveland, OH; two daughters, Jasime Nicole Hamilton of Paducah and Patrice Mitchell of Cleveland, OH; three sisters, LaSaundra Mitchell, Kawana Mitchell, and Kim Mitchell all of Cleveland, OH; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one sister and his grandparents.
Funeral service will be Saturday, August 10, 2013, 1:00 pm at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend C.T. Shackleford officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
