Patricia Ann Hamilton Carter age 54 of Paducah, departed this life on Friday, March 3, 2023 in Mounds, Illinois.

Patricia was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, a homemaker and attended Paducah Tilghman High School where she was a member of the track team.

She was a family person loving everyone especially her grandchildren, they were all the apple of her eye.  You would often find Patricia exercising her vocal cords, singing was a favorite past time for her.  Patricia was an excellent cook, fried potatoes and onions, fried chicken and white beans was the favorite meal she would often prepare.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Hamilton and Lula Mae Bradshaw Hamilton and one niece, Terria Greenway.

She leaves to cherish her memory; one son, William Hamilton (Derricka Jones), two daughters, Sherece (Daryl) Cole and LaTasha Hamilton (Daniel) all of Murray, KY; a host of grandchildren; three sisters, Sandra Greenway, Willetta Hardin and Martina Hamilton (Delmonico Hill) all of Paducah, KY; two brothers, Walter Payne of Murray, KY and Anthony Flemons of Joliet, IL; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023, 5:00 p.m. at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Wade officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Patricia will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
