Obituary
Otiller Carter Rouse, 89, of Paducah, passed away, Friday, June 10, 2016, 11:00 pm, at Superior Care Home- Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
She was a member of Hills Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church where she was past president of the Willie Titsworth Missionary Society and a former member of the church choir.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Nathan Rouse, Jr. and David Lee Rouse, both of Paducah; two daughters, Mary Jo Hart of Paducah and Mary Jane Rouse of Port St. Lucie, FL; five grand-children; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Bradshaw of Indianapolis, IN and one sister, Geneva Richardson of Washington, PA; and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Nathan Rouse; parents, Oscar Carter, Sr. and Elvada Phillips Carter and one son, John Edward Rouse and a brother.
Funeral service will be held, Saturday, June 18, 2016, 12:00 O'Clock Noon, at Burks Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church with Reverend B. Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Hills Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
