Ordall Garnett, age 58, Paducah, died Monady. January 10, 2011, 5:45 a.m. at Medco Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Paducah.
Ordall was a Veteran of the United States Navy and the Vietnam War. He worked for James Marine as a welder.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Etta Mae Garnett, three brothers, Joseph Garnett, Isaac Drue Garnett, and Robert Lee Garnett; and one nephew.
Ordall is survived by his wife, Leontyne L. Maxwell Garnett, Paducah, KY; four sons, Joey Hart, Richard Garnett, Timothy Hill all of Paducah, KY, Ian Brown Garnett, Dayton, OH; one daughter, Keyonna Garnett Walker, Paducah, KY, three step-daughters LaTeka Hunt, Paducah, KY, LaMonica Hunt Brown, Metropolis, IL, and LaNalonna Hunt, Louisville, KY; his mother, Reather L. Morse Garnett, Paducah, KY; his father, Drue Garnett, Paducah, KY; One sister, Drucilla Garnett, Atlanta, GA; seven brothers, George E. Garnett, Simual W. Garnett, James K. Garnett, Harold E. Garnett, Danny E. Morse, Dana Garnett, and James I. Dawson, Jr. all of Paducah, KY; ten grandchildren, two aunts, two uncles, several nieces nephews and cousins.
Services are scheduled for Tuesday, 1:00 p.m., January 18, 2011 at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home, 1229 Madison Street, Paducah, KY, with Albert Frazier and Thomas L. Donley officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah with military rites.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.
