Obituary
Odell White Miller, age 78, of Paducah passed away Wednesday, 10:17 pm, December 28, 2016 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Odell was a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church where he served in the Sunday School Ministry, Male Chorus and church security.
He was a graduate of the former Lincoln High School and West Kentucky Vocational School. He owned and operated M & M Barbeque and Catering Services; was a chef at the Holiday Inn in Mayfield, KY and chef at the former Leroy and Lita's Restaurant.
Odell was a licensed funeral director and staff member of Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents Buster and Mary Miller and his wife Rachel Dvonne Hall-Miller.
Survivors include a son, Kevin L. Jones, Mayfield, KY, a step-daughter, Valerie Jones of Mayfield, KY, a step-son, Justin Hall of Louisville, KY and one niece, Ethel Williams of Memphis, TN and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2017, 1:00 PM, at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Calvin R. Cole, Sr. officiating; burial to follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
