Norman E. Ray, age 60, of Paducah, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022, 12:23 a.m. at Baptist Health in Paducah.

He was a member of Burks Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church and a candidate for Baptism. Norman was a Paducah Tilghman High School graduate.

He was formerly employed at Herzog Pawn Shop in Paducah and a 1981 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School.

He is survived by his wife , Anita Hall Ray, two sons , Ricky Hall and Mark Hall, all of Paducah; two daughters , Gabrielle Cecile Cork of Louisville, KY and Gwendolyn Ray of Ohio; his mother, Carolyn Ferguson of Paducah; eight grandchildren, Jaylen Hall, Kyler Hall, McKenna Hall, Skye Youngblood, Ryleigh Hall, Jace Hall, Ardajaha Cork and Daviontae Cork; one great-grandson, Cy'rus Ramsey; two sisters , Donna (Gary) Smith of Levittown, PA and Felicity Maxwell of Paducah; several nieces, nephews and cousins .

He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Ferguson; two brothers , Terry Ferguson and Kenneth Ferguson.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, April 23, 2022, 12:00 noon at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Rev. Fonseco Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

All attendees are required to wear masks.
