Nola Jean Alexander, age 71, of Paducah, formerly of Cairo, IL, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017, 12:10 p.m., at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah.

She was a member of St. James Christian Methodist Episcopal Church where she served as an usher.  She was formerly employed in the Laundry Department of the Greenbriar.

Nursing Home and in the dietary department at the former St. Mary Hospital, both in Cairo.

She is survived by one daughter , Kawanna Rodgers; one son , Aaron Littleton, Jr., both of Paducah; six grandchildren ; several great-grandchildren ; four brothers , James Whitfield of Mt. Vernon, IL and Herman Whitfield, Billy Whitfield and Wallace Whitfield, all of Cairo, IL; six sisters , Cassandra Chairs, Carolyn Jackson, Marquitta Rush and Wilma Barner, all of Paducah, Betty Chapple of Georgia and Patricia Baldwin of Kansas City, MO; several nieces, nephews, and cousins .

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rice Whitfield and Geneva Evans Whitfield and one brother, Russell DeBerry.

A visitation nor funeral service is scheduled.
