Obituary
Noah Cecil (N.C.) Woods, Jr., 79, of Paducah, died Monday, 12:20 p.m., at Life Care Center of LaCenter, KY.
He was a member of White Oak Missionary Baptist Church and was a 32 year retiree of VMV Enterprises and Illinois Central Gulf Railroad.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Walden Woods, Paducah; two sons Jeffrey W. Woods and Bobby Joe Woods, both of Paducah; two grandchildren Jeffrey Bledsoe and Kenisha Woods, Both of Paducah; one great-granddaughter Ametiya Coffie of Paducah; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents Noah Cecil Woods, Sr. and Nora J. Barnett; five sisters and six brothers.
Services will be Saturday, 1:00 P.M. at White Oak Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Cecil Cole and Reverend Benny Heady officiating, and burial will follow in White Oak Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
