Nina Ree Crossland Arnold, 97, Paducah, KY, died Thursday, June 2, 2011 5:25 p. m. at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.

Mrs. Arnold was a member of the former St. Paul A. M. E. Church where she sang in the choir and served on the culinary department. She retired as an elevator operator from Paducah Dry Goods. Mrs. Arnold was a Duchess of Paducah.

Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by Her first Husband, Reverend Artis Lee Crossland, her second husband, Reverend Alvertis Arnold, her parents, Jess B. Willis and Addie Williams Willis, two brothers, John Willis and Alonzo Willis, and one sister Jessie Bell Kinley.

Mrs. Arnold is survived by a devoted daughter, Marsha R. Roundtree, Paducah, KY, loving and faithful son in law, Ronald Roundtree, one son, Mark L. Crossland, Greenville, KY, two grandchildren Terry Shumpert, Paducah, KY, Delbert Shumpert, Bowling Green, KY, three great grandchildren Alexis ReeAnn Shumpert, Cabool, MO, Kaden Shumpert, and Terrence Kingston Shumpert, both of Paducah; one stepdaughter, Viola Hunt, Paducah, KY, one stepson, Larry Arnold, Paducah, KY; one sister, Allie Bea Phelps, Paducah, KY, several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Services are scheduled for Monday, June 6, 2011, 1:00 P. M. at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Calvin R. Cole, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah.

Friends may call Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Monday from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Mt Moriah Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund, 1201 South 8th Street, Paducah, KY 42003.
