Funeral Service for Nellie B. Lockett, 99, Paducah, will be Monday, May 19, 2008, 1:00 P.M., at the First Love Seventh Day Adventist Church where she was a member. Albert Frazier will officiate and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Lockett died on Wednesday, May 14, 2008, 8:35 P.M. at her residence.

Friends may call at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home on Sunday, May 18, 2008, from
4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. and again on Monday at First Love Seventh Day Adventist
Church from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.

Mrs. Lockett had been a longtime member of Prospect CME Church in Grand Junction, TN, where she served as both usher and church treasurer. She attended Paducah Active Day Care and was a homemaker.
She is survived by:

Two(2) sons: Silas Mckinnie ,Detroit, MI.
Billy Lockett, Chicago ,Ill.

Two(2) daughters: Mattie Lane, Los Angeles, Calif.
Helen Patterson, Paducah ,Ky.

Two(2) step-daughters: Roberta Lockett Collins, Chicago, Ill
Ruby Jean Thomas, South Fulton, Tenn.


She was preceded in death by her Husband Sam Lockett, her parents Ed McKinnie and
Mattie Taylor McKinnie, four (4) sisters and six (6) brothers and two(2) step-sons.
