Nathan Rouse, Jr. , age 65 years, 9 months and 8 days, left this earthly life for immortality on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, 10:11 a.m., from Mercy health Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.  He was born on February 23, 1955, in Paducah, Kentucky to his parents, the late John Nathan Rouse and Otiller Carter Rouse.  He has also been preceded in death by his brother, John Edward Rouse.

Nathan was a member of the First Love Seventh Day Adventist Church and was retired as a delivery driver with the Paducah Sun Newspaper.  Nathan was a veteran of the United States Marines, having served during the Vietnam Era and having received the Good Conduct Medal.

Nathan was both a loving husband and father and truly loved his grand-children.  Nathan was quite fond of whittling sticks into walking canes.  He was one to visit the casinos and one to always like to joke around with both his family and friends.

Nathan leaves to cherish his life and legacy:  His Wife of 16 Years, Teresa Patrick Rouse of Paducah; Two Daughters, LaTrice Davenport of Paducah, KY and LaToya Davenport of Lithonia, GA; One Son, Marieo Watkins of Indianapolis, IN; Two Step-Sons, Cody Gorham of Clinton, KY and Dustin Gorham of Paducah, KY; Twelve Grandchildren;  One Great Grandson; Two Sisters, Mary Jo (Leon) Hart of Paducah, KY and Mary Jane Rouse of Port Lucie, FL; One Brother, David Lee Rouse of Paducah, KY; Two Uncles, Charles Bradshaw of Indianapolis, IN and L.T. Maxie of West Paducah, KY; One Niece; One Nephew and Several Cousins.

Nathan Rouse, Jr. will be remembered for the great family member and friend he was to all.

Funeral services will be held at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Paschall officiating.

Due to the current restrictions to COVID-19, funeral services will be private.
