Obituary
Nanie E. Walker, 88, Paducah, KY, died, Thursday, November 25, 2010, 3:42 a.m. at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Ky.
She was a member of Miles Chapel C. M. E. Church where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher. Nanie worked as an in home Cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elihue Walker, Sr., three sons, Elihue Walker, Jr., Dr. George Walker, and Charles Walker; her parents, Frate Stevens and Lula Stevens.
She is survived by one daughter, Vera Wright, Louisville, KY, two sons, William Walker, Rosemond, CA, and Larry Walker, Milwaukee, WI; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, three nieces and four nephews.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2010 at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah with Reverend Loyd Ivey officiating. .
Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
