Obituary
Murrell M. Proctor, 80, of Paducah, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012, 5:40 p.m. at Western Baptist Hospital.
Murrell was a member of New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Mother's Board. She was formerly employed as a cook for the Paducah School System and the Paducah Country Club.
She is survived by two sons, Anthony Proctor of Louisville, KY and Edward Presley of Trenton, NJ; two daughters, Marquitta Hill and Debbie Proctor, both of Paducah; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; one brother, James B. Mitchell of Paducah; two sisters, Christine Bentley of Louisville and Marie Proctor of Toledo, OH; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Proctor and Louella Brown Morris; seven sisters and three brothers.
Funeral service will be Saturday, September 29, 2012, 2:00 PM at New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend James H. Vinson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday, September 28, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home and again on Saturday at the church from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
