Milton Van "Slick" Cleary, 60, Paducah, passed away Friday, August 9, 2013, 8:38 PM at his residence.

Milton was a member of Burks Chapel A. M. E. Church. He was a General Laborer and cooked at Little Kings & Queens Daycare. Milton graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School and attended Paducah Community College.

He was preceded in death by, his parents, Joe Robert Cleary and Rena Elizabeth Trice Cleary, one daughter, Torrita Jackson and two brothers.

He is survived by one daughter, Angelia Cleary, Paducah; four sons, Mitch Robinson, Atlanta, GA; Derrick Cleary, Marcus Cleary, both of Tacoma, WA, and Brian Jackson, Cape Girardeau, MO; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, William Cleary and J. W. Cleary, both of Paducah, KY; six sisters, Brenda Payton, South Holland, IL, Linda Cleary Bell, his twin, Melva Cleary Moffett, Rose Cleary, all of Paducah, KY; Karen Cleary Dorris, Fayetteville, NC; and Betty Cleary Boyd, Atlanta, GA. One uncle, James O. Trice, Jr, Chicago, IL; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services are scheduled for 1:00 P. M., Friday, August 16, 2013 at Burks Chapel A. M. E. Church with Reverend Charlene N. Boone and Reverend Rita Story Officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P. M. on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home, 1229 Madison Street. Friends may also call at the church on Friday August 16, 2013 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.
