Millie Lee Mann Gary, 86 years, 5 months, and 21 days old, left this earthly life for eternal rest on November 17, 2009, 2:00 a.m. at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah. She was born to the late Garfield Green, Sr. and Mary Johnson Green on May 26, 1923, in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
She worked as an Environmental Specialist at Western Baptist Hospital for 26 years before retiring. She was a member of Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess for 52 years, president of the Trustee Board and the Usher Department and was Vice-President of the Mission Department, Mother's Board and the Culinary Arts Committee. Mrs. Gary also served as President of the Interdenominational Union Ushers. She was active in the Eddyville District of Freewill Baptist Churches, serving as President of the Usher Board, Nurse's Board, Choir Department, and Necrology Committee; she served as a member of the Business Committee and the Finance Committee. Mrs. Gary also served as Usher President for the Kentucky Annual Freewill Baptist Inc. and served as an usher for the General Conference of Freewill Baptist Inc.
Mrs. Gary truly enjoyed working for the LORD and being of good service to her church. In her past times she enjoyed fishing and cooking. Some of her most cherished memories are the times she spent with her family.
She was preceded by her husband of 58 years, Ernest P. Gary; her parents, Garfield Green, Sr. and Mary Johnson Green; a son, Juan Gary; and a brother, Willie Thomas.

Three Daughters: Dorothy Patterson and Willa P. (Ronald) Gary Smith, both of Paducah and Ernestine Gary, Dallas, Texas
Five Sisters: Betty Muse, Rosa Anderson, Pearl Green, Mary Lee White, and Ada Mae Green, all of Paducah.
Three Brothers: Garfield (Minister Joann) Green, Jr., Eddie (Debra) Green, both of Paducah, and Reverend Alfred (Lois) Freeman, Metropolis, Illinois
A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many many friends.
