Funeral Service for Melvin Bradford, 83, Metropolis, Illinois, will be Saturday, January 12, 2008, 12:00 Noon, at Broadway Church of Christ, Metropolis, Illinois. Jeff Stone will officiate, and burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery in Metropolis.

He passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2008, 1:40 A.M., at Metropolis Health Care Center in Metropolis, IL.

Friends may call at Broadway Church of Christ in Metropolis on Saturday, January 12, 2005, from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.

Melvin was a member of Broadway Church of Christ and a Veteran of the US Navy. He was a retiree of Shawnee Correctional Facility.

He is survived by:

A Grandson, Five (5) Granddaughters & A Great-Grandson

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Bradford and Bessie Florence Lowery, two (2) sisters and (5) brothers.
