Megan J. Ervin, age 30, of Nashville, TN, formerly of Paducah, passed away, Saturday, September 24, 2016, 9:50 p.m., at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Megan was a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the youth choir and served in the Youth Ministries. She received her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Corporate Communications from Western Kentucky University and her Master's Degree from Bethel University in Business Administration and previously served as an administrator for the state of Tennessee. Megan was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Gamma Sigma Sigma and served as treasurer.

She is survived by Her Parents, Drebon Tyrone and Helene Ervin of Paducah; Her Brother, Zachary Ervin of Louisville, KY; Her Step-Brother, Roderick Ervin of Union City, TN; Two Nieces, Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Edmon Ervin and and Laura Flye-Ellis and maternal grandparents, Ruben Moss, Sr. and Martha Joyce Moss.

Funeral Service is scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 2016, 3:00 p.m., at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Calvin R. Cole, Sr. officiating. Entombment will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.
