Mary V. Ray Williams, age 75, of Paducah, passed away, Saturday, August 19, 2017,

1:52 a.m., at Lourdes Hospital.

She was a member of Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church and a graduate of both the former Lincoln High School and West Kentucky Vocational Technical School.  She was a retiree of the City of Chicago Department of Human Services.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years , Mack Williams of Paducah; one brother , Herdis Ray, Jr. of Paducah; one sister , Doris A. Ray of Paducah; two aunts; two nieces; several great-nieces and great-nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herdis Ray, Sr. and Bertha Lee Ray.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 26, 2017, 12:00 Noon, at Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Raynarldo Henderson officiating.  Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
