Mary Jane Reed, age 53, of Paducah, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020, 2:44 a.m., at Baptist Health Paducah.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School, attended Murray State University where she was certified in Child Development, and had been employed as a teacher at the Charles J. Moss Day Care.

She is survived by her two children , Claudia Brown and Tomasz Young; four T.T. babies , Janiyah Bumphus, JaKeirah Bumphus, Ja'Marion Bumphus, and JaKary Brown; nine sisters ,Vera Reed, Charlene Reed, Dorothy Reed, Roberta Reed, Annie Reed, Helen Reed, Gladys Reed,  Brenda Davis and Christine Smith; three brothers , Henry Gordon, Bobby  Reeed, and twin brother Willie Reed, all of Paducah; several nieces, nephews, and cousins .

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Williams and Sylvia Reed and three brothers.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 12, 2020, 12:00 Noon at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Wade officiaiting.  Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may also call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
