Mary Lee Martin, 73, Paducah, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, 5:00 am, at her residence.
Mary was a member of New Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and taught bible school. She retired as a cook from the former River Front Terrace Nursing Home of Paducah.
She is survived by one daughter Rose White of Paducah; one step-daughter, Lucreta Lambert of El Paso, TX; five step-sons, James Martin, Sr. and Raymond Martin, Sr., both of Paducah, William Martin, Sr., Brian Martin, and Cecil Martin, Sr., all of Indianapolis, Indiana; three grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ben Hall, Sr. and Clifton Daye, both of Paducah, James Hall and Tim Hall; both of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Patricia Rowe and Lisa Mayes, both of Rockford, IL; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Reverend Clarence Martin, Sr.; parents, Willie Hall and Frances Stanley Hall; step-mother, Mattie Hall; one step-son, Clarence L. Martin, Jr.; three brothers, and one sister.
Funeral service will be Monday, January 14, 2013, 1:00 pm, at New Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Fred Ford officiating. Burial will be held in Mound City National Cemetery in Mound City, IL on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 11:30 am.
Friends may also call at the church on Monday from 12:00 o'clock noon until the funeral hour.
