Mary Alice Johnson, age 62 of Paducah, died Wednesday, August 18, 2010, 12:17 pm at Western Baptist Hospital.

Ms. Johnson was a member of Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir. She worked at Medco Nursing Center of Paducah as a Nurse's Aide for 13 years.

Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Flossie Jones, her husband, Dan Johnson Sr. , her Step-Mother, Thelma Jones and two children Andy Johnson and Annette Johnson.

Ms. Johnson is survived by five sons, Dan Johnson, Jr., Ray Johnson, Terry Johnson all of Paducah, KY; Robert Lee Hines Jr. of Smyrna, GA and Thomas Henry Johnson of Lancaster, CA; two daughters, Myrtlyn Ann Murray and Denise Johnson both of Paducah; four brothers, Charlie Huggins of LaVergne, TN; Alvin Jones of Dresden, TN; Aaron D. Jones of Detroit, MI and Robert L. Jones of Milwaukee, WI; five sisters, Sallie Depriest and Ruby Jones both of Ridgely, TN, Fannie Carruthers of Tiptonville, TN, Ethel M. Clark of Milwaukee, WI and Thelma L. Ingram of South Fulton, TN; 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church 1201 South 8th Street, Paducah, KY with Reverend James L. Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah, KY.

The family will receive visitors Thursday, August 27, 2010 at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home, 1229 Madison Street, Paducah, KY, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Friends may call the church after 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 28, 2010.
