Mary Lee Hardy, age 87, of Brookport, IL, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019, 8:04 p.m. at Baptist Health Paducah.

She attended New Bethel Freewill Baptist Church in Metropolis and was retired from food services with the Massac County School District.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cary Junior Nelson and Mayme Lee Henderson Nelson, one son Stephen Antwine Nelson, one brother and two sisters.

She is survived by Six Sons; Webber D. Hardy, Victor Hardy and Chris Hardy, all of Brookport, IL, Earl T. Hardy, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Scotty Nelson of Metropolis. IL, Lincoln Hardy, Kevil, KY; several Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren ; One Sister; Helen Bradshaw of Metropolis, several nieces, nephews and cousins .

Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 30, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Horeb Church in Metropolis with Rev. Michael Wade and Rev. Connie Webb officiating.

Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
