Mary Frances Thomas, 87, Paducah, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015, 7:35 am at Superior Care Home in Paducah.

Frances was a member of New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Culinary Arts Committee, and the Pastor's Aide Committee. She worked in retail sales at the Former Paducah Dry and at Snyder's. Frances was a volunteer for Homemakers, Paducah Ambassadors, and the National Quilt Museum.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim Neal and Lillian Amelia Crumble Neal, her husband, Joe Lee Thomas, and one sister.

Frances is survived by 5 daughters, Dr. Barbara Biles, Aurora, IL, JoAnn Cooper Overstreet, Amelia Thomas Hollowell, Sharon Lee Woods, and Jacqueline L. Johnson, all of Paducah; 3 sons, James Lee Thomas, Indianapolis, IN, Frank Lee Cooper, Jr., and Tommy Lee Thomas, Sr. both of Paducah; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Newberry of Paducah and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services are scheduled for 12:00 Noon, Monday, June 1, 2015 at New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend LaRita Horton and Reverend Jonathon McReynolds officiating, Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors Sunday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home and again Monday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
