Mary Archie Algee, 94, of Paducah, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016, 9:45 p.m. at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was a lifelong and oldest member of St. James Christian Methodist Episcopal Church where she had served as Sunday school teacher, usher, and a member of the Mildred Allen Missionary Society.
She was a member of the Paducah Branch of the NAACP, Charter member of the Unique Savings Club, member of Church Women United and was a Duchess of Paducah.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Reverend Renata L. Williams of Roswell, GA; one daughter-in-law, Frances Williams of Roswell, GA; four nieces Carolyn Stratton of Paducah, Barbara Stratton-Gore of Asheville, NC, Nwayni Stratton of Glenarden, MD and Katherine Donaldson of Gary, IN and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hayes Algee; her parents, Archie Siner and Hester Noah Siner-Cannon; one son, Charles H. Williams, Sr.; two grandsons and two sisters.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, April 30, 2016, 11:00 am, at St. James Christian Methodist Episcopal Church with Reverends Michael Reid and Renata L. Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
