Obituary
Martha E. Milliken, 82, of Paducah, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016, 4:40 a.m., at Baptist Health of Paducah.
She was a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church where she served with the Nurse Aide Committee and sang in the church choir. She retired from Western Baptist Hospital as a Nurse's Aide and was employed as a seamstress at J.C. Penney Company.
She was preceded in death by one son, Larry Milliken, one daughter, Laura Milliken Parker, her parents, George Milliken and Charlie Modell Love Casey; a brother, Reverend Lawrence Brown Milliken and a sister, Bertie Milliken.
She is survived by one son, Christopher Shelton of Paducah; one daughter, Brensetta Milliken of Paducah; 11 Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren; one Great Great-Granddaughter; one sister, Vernetta Autry of Toledo, OH; one nephew, two nieces; several cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 22, 2016, 1:00 p.m., at Mt. Moriah Missionary
Baptist Church with Reverend Calvin R. Cole, Sr. and Reverend Michael Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
