Mark Anthony Merriel of St. Louis, Missouri, was a people person who would help anybody. He drove trucks for local companies which afforded him the opportunity to touch many people's lives. He was a leader and a problem solver, and his favorite pastime was listening to music.

Mark was born on April 14,1964 in Titusville, Florida, to the late Buster C. Merriel, Jr. and the late Shirley Y. Merriel. He passed away February 18, 2025. At the time of his passing, he had reached the age of 60 years, 10 months, and 4 days.

Left behind to cherish special memories are One Daughter, Nakisha Rankins of Radcliff, Kentucky; Four Grandchildren, Kalijah Washington, Journey Gibson, both of Radcliff, Kentucky, Maeonia Grant and Isaiah Rodwell, both of Mims, Florida; Two Sisters, Stephanie Merriel of Louisville, Kentucky, and Simona Tompkins; Five Brothers, Michael Merriel,  both of Paducah, Kentucky, Marvin Merriel of Sicklerville, New Jersey, Lester Merriel of Titusville, Florida, James Merriel of Mims, Florida and Troy Berry of Cocoa, Florida; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and special friend, Vinetta Woods of St. Louis, Missouri.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two grandsons, Tommy Brothers, Jr. and Jordan Martinez, and two brothers, L.C. Berry Merriel and Tim Berry.

Services are scheduled for Friday, March 7, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Wade officiating.
