Mark Anthony Johnson, age 62, of Paducah, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018, 12:15 a.m., at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

He was a member of Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church and also attended Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church.  He was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and attended West Kentucky State Vocational School.  He was formerly employed at the Mid-Town Market Deli and with Lewis Bean's Plumbing.

He is survived by two daughters , Tara Woodson and Charmaine Johnson, both of Paducah; two sons , Marc Johnson, Nashville, TN and Javarro Reed of Paducah ; two sisters , Tammie Murdock of Paducah and step-sister Veronica Holmes of Lilburn, GA; Six Grandchildren; Two Great Grandchildren ; three uncles, five aunts, two nephews and other relatives. .

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Johnson and Ollie Yvonne Johnson-Maxwell;  and his stepfather, Marvin Maxwell.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 15, 2018, 2:00 p.m., at Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church.

Friends may also call on the family at the church on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.

Burial will be at a later date.
