Marilynne Stubblefield Bunton, age 49, of Paducah, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018, 6:00 a.m., at her residence.

Marilynne was a member of Trinity New Hope Christian Church of Mayfield where she sang in the church choir. She was a graduate of Mayfield High School and Western Kentucky University where she received a bachelor's degree in information systems and was formerly employed in data entry at the Eldridge Company.

Marilynne is survived by her mother Marian F. Stubblefield of Paducah, two aunts , Cathy Wooldridge and Benetta Jones, both of Mayfield; three uncles , Johnnie Higginson of California City, CA, Curtis Higginson and Tommy Higginson, both of Mayfield; several nieces, nephews, and cousins .

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Benny and Eloise Higginson.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 5, 2018, 1:00 p.m., at Trinity New Hope Christian Church with Larry Jamison officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery.

Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
