Marilyn L. Wilson, 74 years, 9 months, and 24days old, of Paducah, Kentucky, left this earthy life for eternal rest 5:47 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Western Baptist Hospital. She was born to the late Otis McKinney, Sr. and Luevada Bowden McKinney in Fulton, Kentucky, on June 20, 1934.
Ms. Wilson was a member of Miles Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church for over 60 years where she served as a stewardess and on the culinary arts committee. She was also a member of the church choir. Ms. Wilson was a faithful servant and served wherever she was needed in the church. She was a member of the Interdenominational Union Choir and the Women's Inter-Racial Group. Ms. Wilson retired from Western Baptist Hospital where she worked as a nurse's aide. She was a graduate of the former Lincoln High School.
Ms. Wilson was a sports fan and was an avid UK Basketball fan. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and gardening with flowers.
