Marie E. Flye Livingston, 86, New York City, NY, formerly of Paducah, passed away Friday, August 8, 2014, 8:25 am, at Jewish Home Health Care in New York City.

Marie was a former member of the Husbands Street Baptist Church, now Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church of Paducah and later attended Abbysinian Baptist Church in New York City. She was a 1947 graduate of the former Lincoln High School, a member of the Ladies' Social Club, and was employed by Lane Bryant as a sales person for thirty-five years.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents Hawley Fly and Viola Ferrell Fly, one brother; four sisters; and a niece.

Marie is survived by her son, Kenneth Livingston of New York City, NY; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Erma Jean Fly, Nancy Lee, and Elva Mae Carruthers, all of Paducah; seven nieces; six nephews; and several cousins.

Funeral service will be Monday, August 18, 2014, 12:00 Noon, at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home. Reverend Raynarldo Henderson will officiate, and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
