Margaret Coplin Nelson, 65, Paducah, passed away Monday, January 14, 2013, 6:38 am, at Western Baptist Hospital.

She was of the Baptist faith, and was employed for 18 years with the former Executive Inn of Paducah as an environmental technician.

She is survived by her husband, Darnell Nelson of Paducah; one daughter, Pansy Coplin of Louisville, KY; Two grandchildren; Two great-grandchildren; Four sisters, Francine Bradford, Ernestine Burns, and Willette Coplin, all of Paducah and Erma Jean Simmons of Trenton, TN; One brother, Nathan Coplin of Paducah; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents Nathan Coplin and Laura Bell Ivory Coplin and two brothers.

Funeral service will be held Friday, January 18, 2013, 12 Noon at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend James L. Hudson officiating.
Friends may also call at the church on Friday from 10:00am until the funeral hour.
