Mamie Tyler Austin 59, Paducah, KY, died Friday, January 25, 2013, 2:58 AM at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY
Ms. Austin was a member of International Faith Ministries where she sang in the choir. She was a graduate of West Kentucky State Vocational School, attended Draughon's Business College and retired from the Paducah Man Power Office. Ms. Austin was a former Mary Kay Consultant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Tyler, Sr. and Katie B. Tyler Ragsdale, four brothers and one sister.
Ms. Austin is survived by her husband Reverend William Austin, Paducah, KY; one son, Adrian Caldwell, Paducah, KY; one daughter, Felicia Tyler, Paducah, KY; one granddaughter; three ,Terry Ragsdale of Paducah, Edward Tyler and Leroy Tyler both of Detroit, MI; six sisters, Deloris Ragsdale Elliott of Cincinnati, OH, Frankie Ragsdale Drew, Connie Ragsdale, Edna Tyler Allen, Ellener Tyler Deboe , and Ella Tyler Mayes, all of Paducah, KY. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services are scheduled for 12 O'Clock Noon Saturday, February 2, 2013 at New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend LaRita Horton and Reverend Alfred Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah, KY.
Friends may also call the church on Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 10:00 am until the funeral hour.
