Funeral Service for Lula M. Thorpe

Funeral Service for Lula M. Thorpe, 78, Paducah, will be Friday, January 11, 2008, 1:00 P.M., at Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Fulton, Kentucky. Reverends Jesse Johnson & Anthony Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenlea Cemetery in Fulton.

Mrs. Thorpe died on Friday, January 4, 2008, 2:00 A.M., at her residence.

Friends may call at Greater Antioch Baptist Church from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour on Friday.

Mrs. Thorpe, a member of Greater Antioch, was formerly employed at Kincaid Industries and was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by:

A Daughter – Lauretta M. Hollis; Paducah, KY

A Grandson – Anthony "Tony" Hollis; Paducah, KY

Four (4) Great-Grandchildren

A Niece & Two (2) Nephews

A Great-Niece & Three (3) Great-Nephews

Several Cousins

She was preceded in death by her husband Cal Thorpe, her parents Linzie Crumble and Lucille Lee Crumble, a sister & a brother.
