Louis Arnold Titsworth age 90 of Paducah, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 12:05 p.m.

Louis was a longtime member of Oakalone Christian Church where he diligently served as past treasurer and trustee.

Louis received certification in carpentry from West Kentucky Vocational School and was retired as a blacksmith from Illinois Central Gulf Railroad after forty-two years.

He was preceded in death by his parents , Eddie Roy and Theora Miller Titsworth; his wife , Mary Lee Dance Titsworth, one son , Bobby E. Titsworth; two brothers , Eugene Titsworth and Lee Roy Titsworth; seven sisters , Goree Titsworth, Novella Parham Titsworth, Zettie Titsworth Watson, Nettie Titsworth Edmonds, Jenny Titsworth Bacon, Lula Mae Dance Titsworth, Ruth Titsworth Heady; and three sisters-in-law , Gurtie Fletcher Titsworth, Earlie C. Wilber-Titsworth, and Dorothy Holland Titsworth.

Leaving behind to cherish his memory are two daughters , Janice Titsworth of Paducah and Donna (Greg) Baker of Cincinnati, OH; two sons , Todd (Robin) Titsworth of Metropolis, IL and Jerome (Valerie) Titsworth of Snellville, GA; fifteen grandchildren ; fourteen great- grandchildren ; one brother , Otis Titsworth of Paducah; one sister-in-law , Sarah Dance Wilson of West Paducah, KY, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 24, 2022, 12 Noon at Oakalone Christian Church with Reverend Ronnie Mason and Reverend Benny Heady officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

The service will be livestreamed beginning at 11:50 a.m., on the Pettus Rowland Funeral Home, LLC Facebook Page.

Friends may call at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Masks are required for all attendees.
