Obituary
Louis Edward Harber, Paducah, 70, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014, 1:35 pm at McCracken Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Paducah.
Louis was a member of First Liberty Missionary Baptist Church where he sang in the male chorus. He graduated from Lincoln High School and West Kentucky Vocational School where he received a certificate in Masonry. Louis worked as a bricklayer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Harber and Ester Lee Patterson Harber; one daughter, Saundra Jackson; one grandchild; one brother; and one sister.
He is survived by three daughters, Shelechia Jackson-Thomas, Tammie Jackson, both of Paducah, KY, and Sharon Jackson, Antioch, TN; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; one brother, Jimmy L. Harber, Paducah, KY; one sister, Brenda Harris, Paducah, KY
Services are scheduled for 4:00 pm, Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Pettus –Rowland Funeral, 1229 Madison Street, Paducah, KY, with Reverend Donna N. Hawkins Officiating.
The family will receive visitors September 27, 2014 from 3:00 pm until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
