Loretta Henderson Pigrum age 66 of Paducah, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, 6:13 a.m. at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah.

Loretta was a member of Ninth Street Tabernacle Ministries and was previously a cook and cashier at G'Bo's Restaurant.  She attended Olive Harvey College of Chicago, IL where she studied Psychology and received a degree in Hotel Management.

She was a family oriented person who loved to cook, with "pot roast" being her favorite food to cook.  She was known as the BBQ Queen, listening to all types of music and dressed eloquently.  Her family knows her as having good hands for growing hair, she believed in a head of long hair.

One thing for certain, she made it a point to make sure all her children knew the bible, having each one to quote a scripture before they received their gifts on Christmas Day.

Loretta leaves was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Willie and Lartharee Earnest Henderson, one grandson, Zayn Fulton, three brothers, Gregory Henderson, Joe Willie Henderson, Jr. and Lepolion Henderson, two sisters, Willie Mae Henderson and Ethel Mae Fulton.

She leaves to cherish sweet memories; two sons, Tyrelle Henderson and James Solomon Smith III both of Paducah; two daughters, TaKesha (Grant) Howard of Park Forest, IL and Jamie Seccora of Paducah; seventeen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, three sisters, Joeann (James) Henderson-Sanders and Cynthia Henderson both of Naperville, IL and Dorothy Henderson of Houston,TX; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends may call Monday at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. for a visitation only service.
